While at the gallery Friday I noticed a Ford super duty, quad cab pick-up park in front, I walked up and noticed the sign on the side read- " Eco-Green..." ( I purposely have not posted the whole name). So I wondered- How much are these people really thinking or are they just totally fake?

Was there any sign that they were using 100% Bio-Diesel or anything like that?

Of course, starting out with the words Eco-Green probably isn't a good sign either. Lots of "fakers" trying to stick their noses in here - we've been having lots of fun with that ;-)

Well, that would definitely be true! Lots of people get around 20mpg combined in their diesel trucks, where an H2 or Suburban is probably glad to get 12+ combined. If you have some good reasons for having a large vehicle, the F250/2500 diesels are probably the best bet.

The slick Mercedes Sprinter is the best large vehicle for mpg, but they are pretty expensive. You are still only talking 25mpg tops - which is pretty good for delivery vehicle. I really think hybrids will help this market out lots.

I don't think they would be using bio-diesel- not recommended for that motor. No evidence of using the vehicle's capacity, no hitch, the box was shiny and unscratched and the people who got out did not look like manual labor or construction people. And yuo're right the Eco-Green... is not a good sign. I like Lana's comment, LOL.
