Karen, here is the information you requested. The National ASLA Conference will be held in Chicago September 17-21. The 2009 State Conference hosted by the TN ASLA (Tennessee Chapter of American Society of Landscape Architects) and the Middle TN Chapter of the USGBC (United States Green Building Council) will be held on October 7-9, 2009 in Nashville, Tennessee.
The conference theme is “Growing a Deeper Knowledge” and will showcase the design practices and current issues relating to sustainable design and landscape architecture.

Our conference program will be rooted in such principles as conscious design of living spaces and sustainable construction methods to minimize negative environmental impact.

Hey Karen, I am 4 months new to the Chattanoga area and I am very interested in getting into the green aspect of Chattanooga, I really love the area since I have been here. Any ideas you have for me to get more active in the green community would be appreciated. Also, I was wondering if you were the one who worked to help my mother Ann Worrell and her team on the Anniston Alabama Army leed prroject?
