Looks like there is initially a mutual interest in developing environmentally impervious clear coatings for nano-solar thin materials through the new joint initiative between the Tennessee Solar Institute and the Joint Institute on Advanced Materials connected with Oakridge and UTK. Kodak is very interested in a partnership and will be going forward with talks in that direction, as well as offering Kodak's prototype material services. It's a very interesting start.
A beginning meeting between the University and Oakridge to establish the focus and definition of this new institute was scheduled for Friday of this last week.
...in many ways I do. Hope all is well with you Jim. It seems that we barely miss each other now-a-day. Hope to catch up soon. BTW- I simply loved, and was inspired by, Anna's story in the TFP about a month or so ago. Truly wonderful spirit.
