Host: Model Forest Policy Program, http://www.mfpp.org
Monday, August 31, at 6 PM - 7 PM Eastern

Thursday, September 17, at 11 AM - 12 Noon Eastern
Having difficulties creating a climate plan that adequately protects citizens and water supplies from the effects of climate change such as flooding and drought? Having trouble getting specific resources and guidance on climate adaptation strategies? Is the cost of hiring planning consultants prohibitive in this economic fiscal crisis? Participants will learn how forests are the often most overlooked and cost effective climate solution to water concerns. You’ll learn the most important components of a forest water climate plan, and examples of successful communities. The training is an overview on how to position your community for future federal climate planning funding assistance. The teleseminar is being offered 3 times and to register go to: http://mfpp.org/teleconference.html
