Event Type: repurposing!
Organized By: Lee Anne Chesnutt
Latest Activity: Mar 16, 2010
ZeroLandfill is a take-back/repurposing event for all the samples that build up in the libraries of interior designers, architects and builders. Simply put, we take all your samples you no longer want and give them back to the community (free of charge!) to repurpose in order to keep it from going to the landfill. Interior Design and Art students, artists, art educators, day cares, churches, quilters, arts & crafters...we are calling on you to come and take FREE whatever your heart desires! We will have the following types of samples (but certainly not limited to) carpet tiles, porcelain tiles, glass tiles, wallcovering and fabric memos, wood chips, laminate chips, paint chips, frame and mat samples, granite, stone and brick samples, empty 3-ring binders. Come see us at the warehouse site on the 'Harvest' date listed below to shop!
If you are an interior designer, architect or builder, we ask that you hold on to these things and deliver to the warehouse site (soon to be announced) on the 'Pollinating' days listed below.
Also, if you would like to volunteer to help us out on 'Pollinating' and 'Harvesting' dates, please let me know! We'd love to have your help in supporting a great cause!
Warehouse location: P&C Construction
Pollinating Dates: Friday, April 2nd 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Friday, April 9th 12:00pm - 4:00pm
Harvest Date: Saturday, April 17th 12:00pm - 4:00pm
(If there is a strong interest and plenty of samples left to give we will hold another Harvest date on Saturday, April 24th)
Stay tuned for updates! This is by no means an exclusive event, so please feel free to pass along to anyone you think might be interested.
