Glen Craig, BLA, a top-level landscape architect, will clearly and knowledgeably explain the issues about rain water run off pollution and what can be done to solve the problems specifically here in Chattanooga. With the EPA threatening Chattanooga with a million dollar+ fine, and the city government raising stormwater runoff fees ten-fold (if a church or business was paying $300 in 2009, they're being billed $3000 in 2010), storm/rain water run off has become a hot topic in Chattanooga.

The public is cordially invited to attend this month's program meeting of the Cherokee Chapter of the Sierra Club to hear Glen Craig speak, Monday, February 22, 7:00 p.m. at "green/spaces" 63 East Main Street, Chattanooga, one block east from the corner of Main and Market.

Glen will tell us about solutions that both home and commercial property owners can use as well as solutions City government can use.
